Ward Lake

Well, it's still a little cold here but we are all looking forward to Steelhead season and many of my buddies are now learning spey fly casting in anticipation. In an effort to increase steelhead numbers, catch and release for steelhead is now the rule in S.E. Alaska, yes numbers are down everywhere - even here. I for one applaud this move by Alaska Fisheries and Wildlife. We ought to be out on the streams soon and this year I'm not going to let business take up too much fishing time (I say ev...
