Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 10.20.11

Been getting more trips the last few weeks with grandparents wanting to be with their grandchildren. Heres some nice pictures with some Beaver Lake Stripers , and some Holiday Island Bass, crappie and a 20 inch trout Caught Oct 14th.     October has brought the water temp down which has put the fish in a good feeding frenzy on both lakes, with a lot of fish feeding on top. Bass and Whites are chasing here at Holiday Island. A white rooster tail , or anything...

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 05.26.11

Beaver Lake and Holiday Island still have cool water temps between 64 & 68, which the fish like. The Striper fishing on Beaver is getting good on our end of the lake with the mudline pushing these big fish closer to the Dam. Live shad are still your best bait, trolling umbrellas are also good. Be ready for a early top water bite, tie on a big redfin.     Holiday Island is getting a good top water bite on black bass. Try a zara puppy early. We have been catching walleye trol...

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 04.25.11

All fish are well over the winter blues and hungry.   Look for the White Bass to be moving up the creeks with all this water running. The bridge in the back of Leatherwood Creek should be a good spot to start looking if you don’t have a boat. Rooster Tails or any minnow imitation should get you some. Still a few Walleye and Crappie are being caught in 4 to 12 foot deep water from Holiday Island and also try trolling deep divers up river for walleye. Minnows and jigs in brush for C...

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 03.21.11

Holiday Island water temps are 52-54 and warming fast. Walleye & White Bass are in the creeks & up the river between the island & houseman on their spawn runs. Get ready for some good action now into May. Fish the flats & bends. Jigs & count down rapalas & wild shiners work good for walleye. Whites like about anything that looks like a minnow. I like throwing white rooster tails myself.     Look for crappie in the brush as they are moving closer to the s...

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 11.04.09

Water temp here at Holiday Island is about 59 in the mouth of Leatherwood creek, & getting warmer not cooler. Great weather. but waters high after all the rain.  Ive been busy putting trees in water last week. Went back & already pulling small crappie off one new spot at about 12 ft where 14 ft drops to 24 ft on minnows. Trolling with small crank baits  & walleye divers  going up river from Holiday Island can put you on walleye, bass, whites & bass. Poi...

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 10.23.09

Here at Holiday Island to Beaver Town where the White River feeds into the Lake is sure a great place to fish. Water temp is running about 57. A lot of Walleye are in area holding off & on the flats & river bends. I am doing best trolling cranks, Walleye runners , & divers. The 2 1/2 inch that only get down to about 11 ft seem to be doing better than the 3 1/2 since the fish are moving shallower Shad & fire tiger colors are both working. To put more fish in boat troll 2...
