The speckled trout fishing the last week has been flst out AWESOME. Big fat trout and plenty of them. Key is to get out early fish with live bait under corks and then later in the Am on the bottom. Light winds greeted us as we hit Breton Sound early today. We went deep to an old shell pad I have not fished in years. It was fish on as soon as we started with live shrimp carolina rigged and artificial cocahoes. These fish wanted the bait slow twitched over the shells on the bottom. Breton Sound meat haul on the Beach Tuesday. Onboard were Tim, Jens, Kenny, and Stan. The water was slick as glass on the way out and we headed straight out to the Sound. Breton Sound Report This past Saturday was a picture perfect day in spite of the weatherman's blown forcast of a rainy day. SHELL BEACH REPORT Speckle trout fishing in Breton Sound and Bay Eloi remains outstanding.  Live shrimp fished 3 ft. under a rattling cork or Carolina rigged on the bottom are the best methods of taking the fish. Fishing Magician Charters Another BEAUTIFUL day in the Sound. Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with John Kelly, his wife Flo, and their friend Dale.
