Yellow Perch have been biting on the North edge of the wheel. Good reports are coming in from this area with limit catches of 9 inch average Yellow Perch.
Small mouth bass fishing in the Canadian waters near Pelee Island is above average. Reports on the small mouth fishing in this area are very good.
Walleye fishing on the rocks! Shallow reef fishing for walleye produces during the lean times. We have been working the reef ledges from 30 feet to 6 feet of water. One here 3 there and at the end of the day you have a very nice catch of walleye.
West Reef - Chickonille - King George - Gull - Mill Point are producing walleye. Some days better than others. Successful fall fishing depends on a knowledgeable skipper that can read the fishing conditions for the day and capitalize on them. The other major factor is the skill level of the crew - along with the skippers ability to teach the crew. This is the difference between two boats fishing the same area one ends up with a cooler full and the other excuses.
