Hopedale Louisiana Marsh Fishing Report 10.26.11
Submitted by United ChartersSubmitted on 10/26/2011
Fun day with the girls at the Beach. Sunday I had the rare pleasure of taking my daughters Elizabeth and Izabella fishing along with my niece Sydney. My girls love to fish, but our schedules (school, work, charters, and weather) rarely line up so we can hit the water together. We headed over to the Lake Amadee area and found boats in the main spots I wanted to fish, but that did not matter since the plan B spots were full of fish too. Fishing with Campo's live shrimp under a cork the girls put together a nice box of fish and had a lot of fun. It was a special treat for me to watch them catch fish and have fun together. I am looking forward to the next time. Total for the day was 60 Trout, 3 Reds, 2 Drum, and 7 Heads.
The Fall fishing in Shell Beach is some of the best of the year. The fish are close, hungry, and the weather is nice. There are still some open dates so book yours soon. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo's is waiting for you. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters. Very nice overnight accommodations are available. 504-439-1680.
