Atlantic Ocean (FL) Fishing Report 06.21.12

The Dolphin (mahi) fishing is very good off Islamorada. The fish have been in the 5lb range in the 400 to 800 foot range and there have been some bigger fish in 900 to 1200 feet of water.There has also been a few Marlin showing up also.Blackfin tunas have been good on the seamounts and live baits will get your bigger fish in the 10 to 15 lb range.On the reef we have had some nice snapper fishing with some 10 lb Mutton Snappers mixed in.The tarpon bite has been good in the afternoons and evenings at the bridges.
