Well here it is we have made it to Febuary . The Grouper season is closed until April 1st ,To Bad because it has been a Helluva grouper year . Gags and Red grouper have been very active this winter.  The Grunts (gray snapper) have been biting very well ,with the occasional seabass or porgy . What I have been doing is when we catch a nice Grouper ,I have that person hold his fish ,smile and someone takes his or her picture, and then we say good-bye to the grouper and back he goes.  On the trolling  side there has been bonitos and a occasional spanish mackerel around . This coming  Saturday , I get to try some amberjack fishing about 35-40 miles offshore.  I'll get back to you on that.

                                                   Thanks Capt. Tom
