Submitted on 08/10/2012Bonito fever has hit the Island. It's got every one in a confused state of mind, I call it a tizzy but I dont know how to spell tizzy. One day its pretty good the next day not so good. So if you go it could be awesome or just ok. At least thats the way its been for us. The Big Bluefish are back off the south Shore and I have taken a few tyrips down there with lots of chomped lures and flies to show for it. There are Bass still hiding up on the flats too. when the sun is shining we are still feeding them with some success stories. Looks like we might get some weather coming through maybe it will get the Bonito excited. I am also seeing some Albie reports on Facebook. They sound like they have some in Buzzards Bay area. The Offshore bite sounds like it has picked up to. I am hearing good reports of Tuna action to the East of Chatham and i will have a first hand report from the South tonight.
Get out and enjoy!!!
