CAPTAIN FRANKS FOUR DAY FISHING REPORT

Saturday thru Tuesday the weather was great. Rain lightly but not enough to harm the fishing. Saturday I had 3 guests from China working for a Auto Parts Company. Fishing was brand new to these men and they had a great time with limit catches of Bass, and Perch.

Sunday was a family with young kids that had I Pads as the only way they fished. We showed them the real live fishing, they didn’t want to know how to clean them { we fillet there catch so they had a great fish dinner that night}.

Monday had two families aboard,  Grand Dad treated his Grandson to a fishing trip. After catching our limit of Bass we rigged up for Muskie fishing. Mathew wasn’t all excited with the hard work Muskie fishing requires. When the reel BUZZZZZZZed off he jumped at the rod. The other young anglers pitched in and reeled in the other rods to give Mathew a clear area to fight this gal. After landing this 40” Muskie  and taking a few pictures,  we released her unharmed.  Now Mathew was energized to fish for Muskies. The other young anglers were excited to catch one too.  It will have to happen on the next trip as we had to call it a day. This was a awesome day with all these young men catching there limit of Bass. Now they want to come back for the fall Jumbo Perch fishing and lad a big gal too.

Tuesday was a reunion day for a group of friends that all went to school toghther and this was there annual fishing trip. We started off with some nice bass catches and a few perch too. Than as if the fishing gods said stop the bite was off. We had to move around to find the big bass and we did. They were anxious for a Perch dinner tonight so Captain Frank had to find a Perch hole. One of my secret weed beds proved not only to be home for some jumbo perch but also some Big bass too. We limited out with Bass and had over 60 Perch in the cooler too. The hard job was filleting this catch. My Mate Bruce worked magic with his electric knife and zip lock bags of fillets were the reward for a great day.

The big Jumbo Perch schools will be coming up around the middle of September . Pick a date and lets go catch them. Limits of Jumbo Perch 50 per angler are the norm from the middle of September. Call me for a date
