Description:

Bad medicine sport fishing offers the finest in Bluewater Sport Fishing in the Los Cabos area.

The Bad Medicine has been recently upgraded to a 35´ Cabo Yachts Sportfisher. We have been in business for over 15 years here in Cabo, and getting a Cabo has always been a goal. In June of 2011, that dream finally became a reality!

Our 1994 Cabo Yacht is in perfect condition. Powered by twin 3208 Caterpillar 4 stroke diesels, she is fast, quiet and a true pleasure to fish on. The custom designed salon has a large living area with wrap around leather sofas and hard wood floors. High ceilings, lots of windows and full galley make for a wonderful space to relax between bites and enjoy air conditioned comfort.

Amazing cockpit space with a top of the line "Release Marine" fighting chair, super bait tank system, fish storage and shaded seating areas make for a super professional but, comfortable ride.

The bridge is a simple few stairs above the cockpit and offers incredible views due to it´s height above the water. There is also a great seating area up on the bridge for guests, so everyone can enjoy the action.

Bad Medicine has all top line equipment. We specialize in light tackle action with a complete set of Avet and Shimano 20 lb gear. We also have a full set of brand new 30 wide Penn Internationals, a full set of 50 wide Shimano Tiagras and a full set of 80 wide Shimano Tiagras. We have left nothing to spare in regards to the quality of our gear, our English speaking crew and our new vessel!

We look forward to getting you on the water!

BAD MEDICINE SPORT FISHING prides itself on personalized service and attention to detail. Our crew loves to fish. They have been with us for over 10 years. They stay out late if they have to. They burn extra Diesel if they need to. Bernie and Beto are great friends of ours, and we plan to work together forever. This shows in their fishing.

We are flexible, and we allow you to customize your day! Our English speaking Crew will be happy to inform you on all the different fishing options available in this diverse fishery. This includes: (1) Light tackle fun for Sierra Mackerel, Yellowtail and other inshore species. (2) Bottom fishing for Snapper, Grouper and Amberjack. (3) Deep sea pelagic fishing for Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, as well as Blue, Black and Striped Marlin!

We offer you the opportunity to make reservations online or if you wish you may email us questions or phone us directly.

Waters Around Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report 04.10.13

Bad Medicine Fishing Report April 2013   Spring is upon us in Cabo, and the typical temperature break between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez is very apparent. Temps in the Pacific are in the mid to upper 60’s, while the Sea of Cortez has nice blue water in the mid to upper 70’s. The water division takes place right in front of Cabo and the fish are stacked up here and towards Punta Gorda and the East Cape. We love this time of year, as the fishing is very w...

Waters Around Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report 02.11.13

As the winter unfolds here in Cabo, the fishing seems to be cooperating beautifully. The water has been in the mid 70’s, and for that reason the Dorado are still here. It has been a few years since the Dorado have been plentiful this late in the season. The Tuna have also been cooperating. We have seen large schools almost daily, and for a couple weeks we were hammering Tuna with fish from 15-25 lbs. Just a reminder, keep only what you can use, as the bite has been very...

Waters Around Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report 01.12.13

As the water cools up north, our surface temps move to the mid to low 70’s. The tremendous Dorado bite we have enjoyed for the past four months is slowing. We are seeing a great number of Striped Marlin this season. A lot of Green Mackerel have moved in and the Marlin are right behind them. There has been a great bite off the lighthouse, while still fishing for Stripeys on live bait. This is a really fun way to catch them, as we use lighter tackle for the battle. We are...

Waters Around Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report 12.14.12

The water is a beautiful ink blue and the weather this time of the year is truly paradise. The Dorado bite is still fairly strong. It is amazing there have been so many Dorado here since September. Lots of nice Bulls, and anglers are filling coolers like crazy. We are so happy to see a great Striped Marlin bite shape up. They are showing well as the water cools and we are seeing decent amounts of bait (Green Mackerel) as well, so we know the migration is on. Really exciting s...

Sea of Cortez Fishing Report 10.17.12

October Fishing Report The best time of the year is upon us here in Cabo. It is tournament time and a number of major fishing tournaments are in the coming weeks. The Bad Medicine won the Bisbee Black and Blue Tournament last year and we are looking to repeat as champions! Cabo is buzzing and you can literally feel the electricity in the air, as anglers are spooling new line and sharpening hooks all up and down the docks! There is nothing like Cabo in October....

Sea of Cortez Fishing Report 10.01.12

As Fall approaches here in Baja, so does the most insane fishing time of the year.  All species are present now and until into December. Get booked now as things fill up quickly!   View of Cabo Mountains after the rain Baja has recently received some much needed rain and the entire landscape is green and lush. The water is now in the mid to upper 80’s and is cobalt blue. We are seeing lots of Tuna. Most every trip we are able to locate schools of Yellowf...

Sea of Cortez Fishing Report 08.03.12

Summer is officially upon us here in Cabo! Some are complaining about the warm weather, but those who fish know what happens this time of year. The water is in the mid 80’s, and the cobalt blue color is what dreams are made of for sure.   The monster Dorado moved in and many fish in the 50+ lb range have been iced.  Most hit the lures while trolling for Marlin, but there were also some shark buoys off Punta Gorda that held piles of big Dorado. Throwing live bait to...

North Pacific Ocean Fishing Report 02.28.12

FEBRUARY FISHING REPORT Winter has set in here in Cabo, and although daily temps in the mid 70′s are absolutely perfect, this season also brings about a big change in the local fishery. The Dorado that were very abundant for the past months are moving on to warmer waters. The Striped Marlin are a bit scarce also, but we are still seeing 1-2 shots per day for those that prefer to target Billfish. There are also schools of Yellowfin Tuna farther outside. Yellowtail ma...
