Want to know more about the fishing with Captain David?
The Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River are home to some of the largest Redfish and Gator Trout that you can hardly imagine. Your fishing experience starts off in the morning in hopes to find some tailing reds searching for their morning meal. We will move slowly through the shallowest of water in the Hells Bay Boat Works Guide, and I will poll you to the fish while they are feeding. Most of the time we will be sight fishing, looking for rips in the water, tails, and head wakes by these incredible fish.
Once we have found the school, which can range from 10 to several hundred fish, I will put you in the spot where the fish will be. You cast to a point, and hold onto the rod. Redfish are known for their great fight, and you should be ready for the screaming drag that will happen.
We will search for the big fish all day, moving from spot to spot. This will be the only time that you will have to relax, so enjoy the beautiful lagoon and scenery, because it doesn't get much better than this.
I suggest that you bring a camera to remember the day that you will have with Capt. David, but most likely you will remember it the next day when your arms are sore and you are still tired from the drag screaming, fantastic fishing day with Captain David.
Tight lines and screaming reels is what I strive for. You won't be disappointed, I promise.
